Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the publication and respond to reader enquiries. The categories of data we may collect include:

  • Contact form submissions: name, email address, and message content provided when a reader chooses to contact us.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited, collected automatically through server logs and analytics tools.

We do not collect sensitive personal data, including information relating to health, financial status, or identity documents, through any means on this publication.

How We Use Data

Personal data collected by Taleni Notebook is used only for the purposes described below and is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

Retention & Third Parties

Contact form records are held for no longer than twelve months from the date of receipt, after which they are permanently deleted. Technical log data is retained for up to ninety days. Cookie preference records persist until cleared by the reader.

This publication uses a small number of third-party services in its functioning:

  • Hosting provider: server logs and basic technical data are processed by our hosting infrastructure partner, located within the United Kingdom.
  • Analytics: aggregated, cookieless page-view data is processed through an analytics service. No personally identifiable information is shared with this service.
  • Embedded maps: the contact page embeds a Google Maps widget. Google may process technical data in connection with loading this widget; see Google's privacy documentation for details.

No data is transferred outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area except where the third-party service operates under a recognised adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
